To receive financial aid, you must be making satisfactory
academic progress per financial aid guidelines. In general,
there are three basic requirements:
- Students must pass 75% of credit hours attempted.
- Student must have attempted fewer than 181 credit hours.
- Students must have the following minimum cumulative MU GPA:
- 1.67 if fewer than 60 credit hours
- 2.00 if 60 credit hours or more
You must also be enrolled in an academic program that
leads to a degree in order to receive federal, state,
and institutional aid. Students who are enrolled in Easy
Access are not eligible for financial aid.
The complete policy is contained
in Mizzou’s Undergraduate
Catalog.
If you have been denied financial
aid due to not making satisfactory academic progress,
you may write an appeal letter to the Director explaining
your extenuating circumstances. Please read the SAP
Appeal Form for instructions.
